The Japanese festival “Matsuri” will be held on July 20, 2024, in the renovated open space of ELEKTROWERK. The purpose of Matsuri is to celebrate the friendship between Japan and Georgia, introduce traditional Japanese culture to the public, and promote various modern subcultures in Georgia. The festival has been held in Georgia since 2015 and attracts many visitors. Matsuri does not have a specific “dress code,” but we welcome all guests who will beautify the festival with traditional Japanese attire, elements, or cosplay costumes.
Tickets are available in limited quantities on biletebi.ge. The festival is open to people of all ages.
Festival is officially organized by The Japanese Language and Culture Center.
